Mac Won't Download Flash Player

I am a new mac user and I am trying to install the Move Networks media player onto my mac (I use Safari) so that I can watch shows from sites like abc.com. When I try to install it, there is a bar tha read more. Hi I recently seemed to 'lose' flash player on my IMac. I have tried downloading a new version but the download won't work. On the download screen when I click the 'start download' nothing happens except that the timer animation thingy, in the Safari browser address bar, starts going round and ro.
